English: The Vierschaar, or Tribunal, is a former room to hold corporal-penalty trials on the ground floor of the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. It was originally open at street level for the public to be able to view and hear proceedings. It can be viewed from an open gallery in the Mayors' room. The marble decorations were designed by Artus Quellinus
