English: Marble statuette of Aphrodite found in Epidaurus, in the sanctuary of Apollo Maleatas. It reproduces a bronze prototype by Callimachus, dated to 410 BC. Representing Aphrodite holding and apple in her hand, and shown either as a goddes of vegetation and fertility, or as participant in the judgement of Paris. Marble. 1st-century AD. Inv. number 1811.
