Deutsch: Die Vennbahn
English: The Vennbahn — a former railway line in eastern Belgium, western Germany, and Luxemburg.
  • It was built by the Prussian state railways in 1885, partly across German territory. After the Treaty of Versailles the route was transferred to Belgium. That created small Belgian exclaves in Germany, and small German enclaves in Belgium.
  • The line operated until 2002, was dismantled commencing 2007, and is now the Vennbahnradweg rail trail and bikeway.
