Vereshchagin Vasily Petrovich January 1, 1835 (Perm) - October 9, 1909 (St. Petersburg) painter and graphic artist. born in the family of the painter PP Vereshchagin, brother artists PP and MP Vereshchagins. Initial artistic skills obtained in the family under the guidance of his father and grandfather, iconographer IV Babin. Simultaneously, he studied under the artist AU Orlov, with whom painted the Transfiguration Cathedral in Perm. A lot of the paintings shown on the internet are by Vasily Vasilyevich Vereshchagin. A real follower and historian of art needs to get this fixed.
