English: Vasily Kozmich Demidov was an amateur painter from Saint Petersburg, Russia, active in the 2nd quarter of 19th century. Demidov served all his life as a non-commissioned officer at the imperial stables in Saint Petersburg. He attended Karl Brullov's classes at the Academy of Art. Demidov is known primarily for his academic history paintings.
