Built in 1877, University Hall was the sixth building to be completed at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and is the oldest building still standing on campus. It was originally called the "Main Building", but that function is currently fulfilled by the Frederick L. Hovde Hall of Administration (built in 1937); University Hall is now primarily used by the History Department.
