Character list (partial)
Note that Unicode versions 1.0 and 1.1 (partially obsolete) had a smaller set of 2 350 Hangul syllable characters assigned in the range U+3400-3D2D (part of a former block U+3400-3D2F which was not part of the ISO/IEC 10646 standard). They have been removed from Unicode 2.0 (synchronized with the ISO/IEC 10646 standard), and encoded differently (with an arithmetic order) in this larger block since Unicode version 2.0 (all former positions for the former Hangul syllables have been replaced by CJK unified ideographs since Unicode 3.0).
The precomposed 11 172 syllables defined in this block (in the range U+AC00-D7A3) are canonically equivalent to their 2 or 3 component jamos. Their canonical normalized decomposition form is defined by a standard algorithm (they don't have and don't need any Decomposition_Mapping value in the Unicode Character Database).
They are sorted arithmetically in this block by their leading consonant (one of 19 choseong jamos from the range U+1100-1112) composed on the left side of the syllable, each group containing 588 syllables, then by their medial or final vowel (one of 21 jungseong jamos from the range U+1161-1175) composed on the right side of the syllable, each subgroup containing 28 syllables, and finally by their (optional) trailing consonant (one of 27 jongseong jamos from the range U+11A8-11C2) composed below the two first jamos of the syllable.
For technical reasons, due to the large number of characters in this block (11 172), not all of them can be shown below, so ranges of 588 syllables composed with the same leading consonant are listed partially (except the first range which is detailed).
