Hutte staan bekend as izinDlu, oftewel "huise".
English: umuZi (plural: imiZi, Xhosa: umzi, Swati: umuti) is the Zulu (and Nguni) name for a family based village or homestead.[2] It traditionally had a self-sufficient economy and was populated by the married headman, the umNumzane, his wives and children. It typically enclosed a cattle-fold, or isiBaya, in the middle. The huts are known as izinDlu (plural), meaning "houses".
