The Trexler Oil Company opened in March 1953 in Kuhnsville, about 4 miles to the west of Allentown on the U.S. 22 highway. The facility was opened by John J. Trexler.
The company was a combination wholesale and retail buisness serving tank trucks, at the bulk plant and motorists and trucks at the service station. Its facility consisted of a bulk oil plant, offices, warehouses and a service station. The builk plant consisted of underground storage of gasolines, heating oils, and diesel fuel to serve homes, farms, truck fleet operations and industrial needs.
Today it is known as the Trexler Plaza Truck Stop
