English: The Treaty of Sycamore Shoals or Watauga Purchase was negotiated between Judge Richard Henderson of North Carolina and a Cherokee delegation led by Attakullakulla (also called Little Carpenter) at Sycamore Shoals (Elizabethton) on the Watauga River in Tennessee in March 1775.
