English: Totem House, Ballard, Seattle, Washington (across the street from the Locks). Built in 1939 as a souvenir stand; a fish and chips place from 1945 to 2010; vacant as of early 2011, then (circa April 2011) leased by Red Mill Burgers, who reopened it with burgers as well as fish & chips.
The major carvings were the work of Nuu-chah-nulth carver Jimmy John c. 1938.[1]
