English: Until 2011 Innocent's remains were located at the Chapel of St. Sebastian in Saint Peter's Basilica. On May 1st, 2011, the remains of Innocent were replaced by those of Pope John Paul II, and Innocent's remains were moved to the Altar of the Transfiguration.
