Tom a' Chaisteil. (Tom's Castle). The Obelisk, an 82 foot high monument was erected by his wife to General Sir David Baird (1757-1829). The scant remains of an ancient hill fort can be seen on the summit but are obscured by the dense vegetation and were much destroyed when the monument was erected.
