The Three Forests Way is a 60-mile/97 km circular walk linking Epping, Hatfield and Hainault forests. The route of the Three Forests Way was devised by the West Essex Group of the Ramblers' Association to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee in 1977. Only about 8 miles of the route runs through the three forests.
