Thompson & Thompson was an architectural firm in Seattle, Washington comprised of Charles Lawton Thompson (1842-1927) and his son Charles Bennett Thompson. Charles L., a veteran of the Civil War, had previously worked with S.J. Weigel in Salt Lake City, UT in the 1890s in the firm Thompson & Weigel, who designed numerous commercial and residential structures in that city. The Thompson family relocated to Seattle with the Yukon Gold Rush crowd where they worked from 1899 to 1927, and after the elder Thompson's death his son continued to practice into the 1930s.
