English: The Thomas Scott Residence consists of a two-storey, wood-frame residential building situated on a city lot in a mid-block location on a residential street in the historic Strathcona neighbourhood. The Edmonton Heritage Council has stated that the home is "perhaps better referred to historically as the Daniel MacDonald Residence" because Alberta's Superintendent of Buildings Daniel E. MacDonald lived there from 1917 until 1960.[1]
