Thomas Henry Sparshott's daughter was Margaret Elwyn Sparshott, matron of Manchester Royal Infirmary, England. His nephew was Reverend Thomas Sparshott Johnson (1876–1950s), a missionary to Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka).
