English: The Warehouse at the National Railway Museum in York is in the building on the east side of the Great Hall. It is both a warehouse storing items of the museum's on shelving, as well as part of the museum itself - visitors are free to walk through and around the items. The Warehouse is accessed from the Great Hall via The Flying Scotsman Story, an exhibition about both the Flying Scotsman locomotive and the Flying Scotsman train. At the southern end of the same building is the Workshop, while on the east side of it is the Locomotive Preparation Bay, which can be viewed through windows in the warehouse wall. The Warehouse has three roller shutter doors in its north wall through which pass three railway sidings.
