English: The QF 13-pounder field gun of L Battery Royal Horse Artillery. For bravery during the action at Néry, France, 2 September 1914, Victoria Crosses were awarded to Captain E.K. Bradbury, Battery Sergeant Major G.T. Dorrel, and Sergeant D. Nelson; the Legion of Honour was awarded to Lieutenant J. Giffard and the Medal Militaire to Gunner Derbyshire and Driver Osborne.
