As "The Big Tree" (name first documented in 1931) is called a special tree of the species Tieghemella heckelii (native name of this species: Bako-tree) with 12 metre trunk circumference and a high of 66.5 metre which is located in the Esen Epam Forest Reserve in Ghana. It shall be the tallest tree of West Africa (reportedly).
