The Bat and Ball is a pub at 51 Ditchling Road in Brighton. The name refers either to cricket or to the game of bat-and-trap, both of which were played in the 18th and 19th centuries at The Level—the large open space directly opposite the pub. It is a street-corner pub at the junction of Oxford Street.
