The Arrival of the Maoris in New Zealand (1898) is a painting by Charles Goldie and Louis Steele. It was first exhibited at Auckland Art Gallery in 1899. It is a fanciful depiction of the first sighting of Aotearoa by Polynesian settlers, and is modelled on Géricault's The Raft of the Medusa.
