English: Po Ina Nagar, also referred to as Thap Ba Ponagar, or just Ponagar or Po Nagara, is a Cham temples complex founded sometime before 781 A.D. and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara on the northern bank of Cai river, midst modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar – also called Po Naga or Thiên Ya Na – the goddess of the country. Historical literature and steeles identify her as Uma (Parvati), the Hindu mother goddess and wife of Shiva, also known in her forms as w:Bhagavati and w:Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mâu. The complex consists of four surviving square plan Hindu temples, with evidence that there were at least six temples at this hilltop location by the end of 8th-century. These are dedicated to Uma, Shiva, Ganesha and Kartikeya. Each temple has different form of Hindu architecture, also found in parts of Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and India. The site has a small onsite museum with sculpture of Hindu deities and photographs of the site before and after the US–Vietnam war in the 1960s.
