The Pichai (also written as Phichai) is the one short road in Dusit District, Bangkok. It starts at the front of Prasat Devarit Gate (one of the gates of Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall) on Ratchawithai Road and runs straight north across Khlong Samsen canal by Devahastin Bridge in the area of Dusit Subdistrict, then enter Thanon Nakhon Chai Si Subdistrict, before to end at the convergent point with Amnuay Songkhram Road, total distance is 0.852 km. The road was built during the King Chulalongkorn (Rama V)'s reign, at those days, it was named "Phutthan" (divided into two phases: Phutthan Nai and Phutthan Nuea) and changed to "Pichai" all the length as in the present, in honour of Prince Benbadhanabongse, Prince of Phichai.
