The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) and the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep) in partnership with the Ministries of Health (MS), Women, Family and Human Rights (MMDFH) launch this Wednesday, 2, at 6 pm, the notice for Assistive Technology in the amount of R$40 million. The objective is to promote research, technological development and innovation in projects that involve technological risk and/or contribute to innovative actions for the SUS. Soon after the public notice was launched, minister Marcos Pontes signed a cooperation agreement with the General Villas Bôas Institute (IGVB). The President of the IGVB, General Marco Aurélio Vieira, and the President of the Superior Council of the IGVB, Maria Aparecida Villas Bôas, wife of Gen Villas Bôas, represent Villas Bôas, who will not be able to attend the ceremony, as she belongs to Covid's risk group. 19 and remains in isolation at home. Together with the MCTI, the IGVB finds space to bet on technological innovation as a way to develop assistive technology, seek investments and make new items reach those who need AT to live and remain productive.
