English: Teampall Mór (great or big church), also named Lower Church or St. Molaise's Church, was a parish church, built in the early 13th century in transitional Romanesque style. The eastern section of the church was built c. 1300. Attached to it on its northern side is the Culdee house. On its southern side, a chapel and mausoleum was added for the Maguire family in the 16th or 17th century. See Claire Foley and Ronan McHugh, An Archaeological Survey of County Fermanagh, Vol. 1, Part 2, p. 724–726, and Alistair Rowan, The Buildings of Ireland: North West Ulster, p. 234.
