English: Teampall Deirbhile is a small Romanesque church, probably 12th century, located in the townland An Fál Mór and dedicated to St. Deirbhile who founded the site in the 6th century. Leask connects this church with the first phase of the Irish Romanesque style. See Harold G. Leask, Irish Churches and Monastic Buildings, Volume I, p. 158; Gwynn and Hadcock, Medieval Religious Houses Ireland, p. 403 (see entry St. Derivla's, Co. Mayo); Peter Harbison, Guide to National and Historic Monuments of Ireland, p. 247.
