English: Tao underground houses (also called Yami underground houses) are tribal houses on the Orchid Island, which were built underground to survive from typhoon hits. Tao people use traditional techniques and local materials to build houses, while simultaneously creating culturally meaningful spaces. Technically, they're not a true "underground" house, but people call it that.
