From 1947 to 1949 the first 26 chassis delivered (110 151 à 110 160) had a wheelbase of 265 cm, which complicated the work of the bodybuilders. In 1950 and until 1953, the wheelbase increased to 280 cm (GSL Grand Sport Long) for the ten other chassis produced (110 151 à 110 160), which facilitated the creation of a 2+2 type coupe or convertible. The engine is the 6-cylinder in-line of the T26 Record but boosted from 170 to 190 hp at 4200 rpm thanks to a light alloy cylinder head (Alpax Gamma) instead of a cast iron cylinder head and three Zenith-Stromberg EX-32 carburetors instead of 2. Compression : 7.5:1 ; torque : 25 Nm at 2800 rpm. Weight of the bare rolling chassis : 850 Kg.
