The Super Skyway Drive-In Theater (1954-1956, 1965-1977) was located west of Allentown, in Kuhnsville at Crackersport and Blue Barn Roads. It had a capacity about 1,000 cars.

When it opened in August 1954, the theater was equipped with both stereophonic sound as well as capability to project widescreen films on 2.35:1 wide projection screen for CinemaScope. At the time, it was one of only a few Drive-Ins with these features, and was designed to bring in viewers with features not available on Television, which was the cause of many theaters closing in the early 1950s. The theater also showed the same first-run films that were available at the major theaters along Allentown's Hamilton street, and it had a full concession stand as well as children's play area. Financial issues caused the theater to close at the end of the 1956 season, and it was closed for several years.

In 1964, The Budco chain bought the theater and did an extensive renovation of the property. It re-opened in June 1965. Over the subsequent years, the theater showed both new and second-run films, or films from the minor studios due to the slow, long decline of the Drive-in industry. The theater eventually closed for good at the end of September 1977 when Budco consolidated its drive-in holdings to ones in Bethlehem and Quakertown.

After its closure, it sat vacant for decades, although it did find some uses as a Halloween "Haunted House", and other occasions. However, it slowly declined and the screen, signage, speakers and other infrastructure was removed by 1980 or so. It remained abandoned and in 2003, a fire burned down the concession stand and projection booth. Today it is an empty field, although its drive-in past is still evident on the landscape.
