The Sundarbans Mangroves Ecoregion is a designated ecoregion by One Earth. It is classified as a Mangroves Biome. It is one of seven ecoregions in the North Indian Tropical Forests & Sundarbans Bioregion.
This ecoregion occurs in India and Bangladesh. It is the largest mangrove ecosystem in the world. Water from the Brahmaputra and Ganges passes through here.
