The Stellenbosch Museum comprises four period houses on or near Drostdy Street (the Village Museum at 18 Ryneveld Street), the Toy and Miniature Museum in the old Rhenish Parsonage and the V.O.C. Kruithuis (Powder Magazine) on the Braak. The restored Erfurthuis at 37 Ryneveld Street serves as its administrative headquarters and a reference library for bona fide researchers.
