Deutsch: Marktplatz 3, D-35216 Biedenkopf, Hessen: Wohn- und Geschäftshaus am Marktplatz; Ersterwähnung in 1648. Ursprünglich städtisches Weinhaus, dann Posthalterei Stapp (auch: Stapp'sches Haus), dann Hotel und Gasthaus "Zum Hirschen". Ab 1919 beherbergte das Haus eine Apotheke mit Namen "Hirsch-Apotheke"; der Apotheker Wilhelm Krüll verlegte sie damals vom Standort Hainstraße 26 an den Marktplatz. 1938 übernahm Friedrich Werner Bruch aus dem Siegerland die Apotheke; sein Sohn Wolfgang Bruch betrieb sie bis 1995. Zuletzt wurde sie bis ca. 2005 von der Apothekerin Silke Achenbach aus Lübeck betrieben. Besonderheit: die drei runden Fenster am Giebel sind Relikte des 1774 auf Abbruch verkauften Jagdschlosses Katzenbach.
English: Germany, Hesse, Biedenkopf/Lahn: Residential and commercial building on Market Square, first mentioned in 1648. Originally an urban wine house, post office Stapp (also: Stapp'sches Haus), then hotel and pub "Zum Hirschen". From 1919 the building housed a pharmacy, last commercial use: Hirsch-Apotheke (Pharmacy). Special feature: the three round windows on the gable are relics of the 1774 sold for demolition hunting lodge Katzenbach.
