English: Stanton under Bardon is a village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire, England. Population approx 1000 residents.[1]. The houses are generally constructed out of red brick, with many on Main Street being Terraced and having long, thin gardens. The village is situated near junction 22 of the M1 motorway, close to Markfield, Stanton shares a local newspaper with Markfield, the Markfield and Stanton Under Bardon Herald. The village has a thatched pub, Post Office, two churches and a primary school. Nearby is Bardon Quarry, lots of wildlife, billabarra reserve and a spring.
