Town fortification

Probably with the founding of the city around 1220 /30 built, the medieval town enclosing wall circle with towers and gate towers, first mention in 1265, defortified since the late 18th century.

Only the so-called ‘Storchenturm’ (stork tower) or ‘Weißer Turm’ (white tower) is preserved. The wall itself is only isolated in a section and in parts of the houses, but on the basis of street guidance and parceling but comprehensible.
