English: The tall signal box at St Erth was opened by the Great Western Railway on 10 September 1899 to replace an earlier signal box. The new box was of the style described as Type 5 and contained an operating floor 41 feet 1 inch by 12 feet. It had a 55-lever frame but this was replaced in May 1929 by a new frame with 69 levers.
