English: St. Mary's Priory at Devenish Island was founded in 1130 as house of Augustinian Canons. The church was rebuilt in 1449. The priory was found to be deserted in 1607. See Gwynn & Hadcock, Medieval Religious Houses Ireland, p. 169.
