English: St. Martin's Parish Church in Laško, the seat of the Parish of Laško and a pilgrimage church, was probably built in the 2nd half of the 12th century or perhaps in the 13th century. Later it was several times redesigned. It represents the southernmost group of churches featuring a choir tower (a type of bell tower) in Europe. The church has eight altars. It joins elements of the Romanesque, the Gothic, the Baroque and the modern style. It is protected as a monument of local significance (No. 309).
