St. John’s Church, originally built in Sarayiçi, Gedikpaşa and inaugurated by Patriarch Stephen Zakarian III on 6 December 1827. A problem with this church is that it is in Gedikpasha, a neighbourhood that has two Armenian churches, a Protestant Evangelical) one and this Orthodox / Apostolical one. It is also called Gedikpaşa Surp Hovhannes Yegeğetsi, is part of the Orthodox church and its address is Fatih, Şehsuvar Bey Mah., Sarayiçi Sokak 3.
