English: The St. John the Evangelist Church in Spandauer Vorstadt, a quarter of Mitte, Berlin, Germany, is owned and was used by a congregation within the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia, a united Protestant church body of Calvinist, Lutheran and united congregations. Between 1978 and 2002 the church had been profaned as a magazine of books.
