Soya Chaap is a dish in North India. It is vegetarian's equivalent of meat. The name suggests that it is made of Soya flour, but usually maida flour is present in more quantity. It can be cooked roasted and then adding gravy to it. This is usually served with any of the Indian breads like Tandoori roti, Naan, Paratha, Rumali Roti, etc. Another method of preparation is to deep fry the chaap pieces and dip them in a curry made of cashews or tomatoes.
