The Southern Andean Yungas Ecoregion is a designated ecoregion by WWF and One Earth. It is classified as a Tropical & Subtropical Moist Broadleaf Forests Biome. It is one of 17 ecoregions in the Andean Mountain Forests & Valleys Bioregion.
It has a narrow North-South distribution from the Santa Cruz Department of Bolivia in the north to Catamarca Province in Argentina in the south.
