Note that the term "slide trumpet" in Jazz music means a soprano trombone, otherwise "slide trumpet" refers to various historical natural trumpets with only one moving section of tubing (instead of two sections on a trombone slide), from the 16th century (Rennaissance era), or 18th-19th centuries (the English "flat trumpet").
