English: The Simmons Factory Warehouse was a mattress and bedding manufacturing site built in 1912 by Montreal-based Alaska Bedding Company (ABC). By 1919, ABC had merged with its subsidiaries, among which was Simmons, and the building became better known by this name. The company manufactured specialty sleep equipment, including hospital beds, as well as chesterfield beds, pillows, spring mattresses, and the Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. The building has been restored and now houses food-related businesses. It is also known as the Simmons Building.
