Built in 1859, this Italianate-style house at 115 East Gilman Street in Madison, Wisconsin, was constructed for Silas U. Pinney. The house is clad in red brick with a hipped roof, eaves with paired brackets and dentils, two-over-two windows with decorative headers and sills, a two-story bay window on the side with bracketed cornices, a front porch with clustered square Doric columns, an architrave with triglyphs, modillions, a front pediment, and a vaulted ceiling, a rusticated stone base, and a gabled rear ell. On the northeast side of the building is a two-story red brick addition with a low-slope roof and paired windows, which was added in 1948 when the house was converted to apartments.

The house is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
