The Shiva temple of Thanegaon village, identified as the Large temple of Thanegaon Gadchiroli by ASI India, is located to the south of Armori town in far eastern Maharashtra. It is one of many historic Hindu temples attributed to the Gond dynasty and Gondi people heritage – classified as a tribe since the colonial era.
