English: Shiskine ( Gaelic: Seasgann) is a small village on the Isle of Arran in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. Sitting further up the "Shiskine Valley" from the village of Blackwaterfoot, the village takes its name from a corruption of the Gaelic for "marshy place". Much of the area was essentially a swamp years ago, but now comprises farm land.
Gàidhlig: 'S e baile beag ann an Arainn, eilean ann an Linne Chluaidh, a tha ann an Seasgann (Beurla: Shiskine). Tha am baile suidhichte ann an Gleann Sheasgann faisg air Bun na Dubh Abhann. Tha Beinn Nuis agus Beinn Bharrain faisg air. 'S e seo na co-chomharran aige: 55° 31′ 0″ Tuath agus 5° 18′ 0″ Iar.
