English: Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 1401 Duke Street at the corner of South West Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, was founded by 50 former slaves in 1863 as the Shiloh Society. They held services in Federal government buildings until September 1865, when their wooden frame church on West Street was ready. Their current brick Gothic Revival church was completed in 1893.
