The Seven Spears of Shizugatake shizugatake no shichi-hon-yari 賤ヶ岳の七本槍 were mounted bodyguards of Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the Battle of Shizugatake (1583). During the battle, Hideyoshi ordered them to leave their position and to charge at the army of Shibata Katsuie. They are
