English: Construction company Serck nv was founded in the late 18th century. The company was one of Ghent's leading construction firms in the 19th and 20th centuries. In 1999, the company, which is still active, moved to a new site in Melle. Serck nv's photo collection was donated to the Museum of Industry (Ghent) in 1999.
Nederlands: Bouwbedrijf Serck nv werd eind 18e eeuw gesticht. Het bedrijf was een van de belangrijkste Gentse bouwfirma’s in de 19e en 20e eeuw. In 1999 verhuisde het bedrijf, dat nog steeds actief is, naar een nieuwe vestiging in Melle. De fotocollectie van Serck nv werd in 1999 geschonken aan het Industriemuseum.
